10th Annual MDA Photo Contest

We’re pleased to announce the 10th Annual MDA Photo Contest. Winning entries to be featured on the 2022 issues of the MDA Focus magazine.

• Entry deadline is Sunday, December 26! Contact Melissa Albertson for questions and to email submissions.
• You may submit ONE photo in each of the SIX categories below (for a total of six pictures per entrant). The contest is open to all dentists and dental student members!
• Photos may have been taken at any time (no date restriction) but cannot have been previously entered in the MDA Photo Contest.
• Photos must be high resolution to be placed on the cover of the magazine (8.5 X 11 inches). Photos will not be accepted that are not high-resolution for print quality. The staff will consult with you about any questions or issues once submitted. 

New Categories for 2022 Contest

• Urban Life – Images depicting aspects unique to and easily identifiable with an urban lifestyle/environment.
• Rural Life – Images depicting aspects unique to and easily identifiable with a rural lifestyle/environment.
• Architecture – Images that display architecture: details, exteriors and interiors. 
• Black & White – Images displaying great texture, tonal contrast, shape, form and lighting … without the distraction of color.
• Color – Images showing outstanding use of color, including array of shades, vibrancy and depth/saturation of color.
• Nature – Images displaying the beauty of nature and the outdoors, including landscapes and animals.
